Originally Northants Garage Doors, The Garage Door Centre began in 1986 not long after AGD Systems was formed to specialise in electric gate systems. The Garage Door Centre has grown to become one of the largest and leading specialists in the UK for garage doors, front entrance doors, pedestrian doors and all associated products that go with these. We have superb in house expertise on all types of garage doors and brands.

We began in 1986 just automating existing garage doors, but very quickly realised that a lot of garage doors couldn't be upgraded to be electric operated and needed replacing with new doors. We always sold replacement garage doors which were far better than the existing ones and that is still our drive today.. We like to make sure any customer is aware of the very best options to suit their budget or requirements. Many people are simply not aware of the vast options that are available with new garage doors. We have fitted pretty much every type of garage door in all sizes and with all options over the many years we have been operating.

We have a dedicated showroom,one of the largest in the UK with over 60 garage doors and associated products on display and a dedicated warehouse and installation facility for professional distribution and handling of doors at any size or shape. With 6 dedicated sales staff for domestic garage doors alone and 3 surveyors we can fulfill any request almost anywhere in the UK.
We offer supply only if required and help you get the right door and specification, but most of our work is with installing the doors professionally and for replacement doors we offer a full survey and can provide detailed drawings whenever required for most products.
